I Became a Member of FBC Because: I grew up in this church. This is home.

The Best Part of My Ministry at FBC Is: It is an honor and a privilege to be your Senior Pastor and I enjoy doing ministry side by side with all of you. I praise God for all of you and lift you up in prayer often. For those of you who are looking for a church home I encourage you to come and try us on to see if we fit. And if we do fit then let me be the first to say “Welcome home.”

A Few of My Favorite Things: I love spending time with my family, going on dates with my wife, and riding bikes with my kids. I also love to cheer on all of our students here at First in their sporting events and I love to cheer on those Denver Broncos and Denver Nuggets. I know that some of you would probably not agree with those two choices, but I am Christian and I have to do what is right.  I have also inherited my Dad’s 1964 Plymouth Barracuda and I love driving it around town, so when you see me honk or wave at me, I promise to honk and wave back.

I Became a Member of FBC Because: I am the 5^th generation in my family to be members of FBC and this is where I was baptized and married.  I’m home!

The Best Part of My Ministry at FBC Is: I have the privilege to lead the corporate body in worshiping our living God every week.  Through song, drama and other forms of arts we are able to come before God and give our praise.  I love getting to work with all of the dedicated musicians, ushers, greeters and other members of the church.

Favorite Scripture Verse: “On your feet now – applaud God!  Bring a gift of laughter, sing yourselves into his presence.  Know this: God is God and God, God.  He made us; we didn’t make him.  We’re his people, his well-tended sheep.  Enter with the password: “Thank you!”  Make yourselves at home, talking praise.  Thank him.  Worship him.  For God is sheer beauty, all-generous in love, loyal always and ever.” Psalm 100 (The Message)

A Few of My Favorite Things: I love to spend time with my wife, Annie, the rest of my family, including our two Corgis.  I am a huge Denver Broncos fan and will always cheer on the orange and blue!  Music is my passion and whether it is playing or getting to sit and listen, I love music!  Also, I will never pass up the opportunity to have a good prime rib!  I am definitely a meat and potatoes kind of guy.

The Best Part of My Ministry at FBC Is: Working for God!! Ministering alongside my brothers and sisters in Christ, whom I love very much, is a great blessing. I get to be with family when I go to “work” and I get to be with family when I go home!

Favorite Scripture Verses: It’s hard to narrow it down! Isaiah 41:10, because it reminds me not to be afraid; God’s in control. Also, Psalm 103, because it reminds me just how awesome God is in His compassion and love for us, and Psalm 139, which shows me how intimately God knows ME!!

A Few of My Favorite Things: My boys and husband; my Golden Retrievers, hummingbirds, beautiful flowers, seeing God in the people and creation all around me, and COWS!!
